My ASM Buay Song Me Very Long!

It's my 6th day at work. 2 and half days more to go to my break.... Counting down...

Exploded at work today.

 Had a huge quarrel with my ASM (assistant store manager) today during our everyday briefing which we had before we commence work. Like I mentioned in my previous entry, we were made to have our DINNER break as early as 2pm. Today I voiced out cuz I kena 2pm and I juz had my lunch at 11plus. Come on lah, my food also not digested yet, how to have dinner you tell me?

Then he asked isit I find it too early. I replied Yes, everyone thinks so too. Then he not happy and started scolding me in front of everyone. He said my TONE was rude and he knew I buay song him. He revealed so openly that he also buay song me for very long (1 mth plus is very long.. Cough!) and had been putting up with me. I was soo pissed off and said that if he felt Im rude, fine then, Im not saying anything anymore.

He said it's up to me if I dun wanna say anything. And said that I told him off the other day too.

To digress. The other day, our big boss from France came to SG. Everyone must be at their best and so, I was told to tie my long hair. I merely said that I dun have rubber band, I did not bring... Joan then mentioned that she got extra with her and dashed into the locker room to take for me.

This stupid gay man then said to me in a HARSH tone, "U say U dun want to tie ur hair?" Of cuz I flared up after hearing his fierce words thus I raised my voice back at him, "I said I DID NOT bring, I never say I dun wan to tie. Anyway Joan already went in to take for me!"

It was juz a small issue of tying my hair. Duhzz. I never have the intention of not tying when he told me to. But I cant take it when he accused me of something and sounded fierce to me.

Back to the conflict today. After scolding me, he then revealed that he has already tendered his resignation letter and last day will be on the 10th next month. It's good that he's leaving cuz no staff likes him at all! He only knows how to talk and is an incompetent manager. Everyone cant stand him any longer too. His leaving was a good news to us!

Then after his preaching, he told me off again. Kept saying my tone bla bla. If U dun agitate me in the 1st place I wun be rude to you. Do some self reflections yourself. Ur words and TONE have been offending everyone in store too. Before commenting on others, take a look at yourself first!

He better not talk to me anymore or give me anymore trouble till he leave the company. I dun wanna waste my breath on him lah. Stupid gay!

And so! I will be tying my hair lor during work cuz I dun wan give him chance to say me. He used Sonia to threaten us too, saying it's not him who want us to tie our hair. It's Sonia and those who dun tie will be issued warning letter.

Wah. So serious ah?! LoL. Stupid fool. U think we are pri sch kids??!

And U are the one who THOUGHT we dun wanna tie our hair. (God, cant believe Im talking about tying of hair here. So damn bo liao). I merely dun like to tie cuz it will leave a mark on my hair when I have been blow drying and applying cream to my straight hair. Talk to us nicely and we will listen. If U dun show others the respect first, dun expect any back!

Im gonna treat him as the invisible man/gay from now onwards. Shut my ears whenever he speaks. I loathe and detest his stupid laughter the most. Annoying to the max.

Job Marathon N COuntin DOwn to Thai Trip!

I've finally purchased my very own laptop and am able to come online as and when I like now but yet I've not been blogging. Reason is that Im really tooo busy with work!

I was off on Tues and by right the next off will be on Sat. However, SEP is holding a warehouse sale @ Suntec and staff at my store were forced to sacrifice one of our offdays and help out. They wanted everyone of us to have the experience of selling at fair and so! I gotta work from this Tues all the way till next Thurs, which I've applied half day leave. My trip will be the next day, Fri. OMG! Work marathon for 8 and half days straight without anymore off till my trip! What a nightmare!

At times. No, it should be everytime.. my co really dun see us as human.

Imagine.

Dinner break for night shift as early as 1-2pm. And we gotta work till 930-10pm.

Forcefully taking away our offday without seeking our approval and as a result, I gotta work almost 9 days straight.

Made us work afternoon shift and then morning shift the next day. My poor knee really cannot take it cuz not enuff rest and must stand for soo long hours.

Made us go for meetin as early as 9am, those working night shift suay lah! Must tahan all the way till night. Dammit, I kena twice b4.

If unable to hit at least 70% of target, we dun get any comm at all.

Must tie hair, use black accessories, no scrunches for hair... Worse than Pri school. At least they have more choices of colors. And I HATE tying my hair! Will leave a mark!! They have a long list of rules which I cant be bothered to list out.

etc etc etc.

Okie Okie. I did complain alot of my job and I did went on a job search but have yet found a better one thus Im still with SEP. However, Im so elated that I got bonus after all!!! They dragged till yest then handed us the bonus letter. Sooo glad the money came in handy at this time. My SONY VAIO laptop became free! Yipeee!!!!

Counting down to my Thai trip next Fri. I can hardly wait to travel with Tessa! Shopping @ BKK! Here I come! Hopefully the stupid protest there will be over by then! Stinky gruesome blood splashed across buildings of the parliament. Such a waste of blood. Why not use them to help others?

I cracked a joke to Tessa over msn. I said the mosquitoes there surely happy liao. LoL. Food everywhere for them!

Last Straw @ Work

Im on mc for two days since yest. Then my break start all the way till third day of CNY. Which means I have 6 days of break without work! Shiok or what?!

SOmething happened @ wrk that really very pissed me off on Tues. You see, our roster always change last min de thus we must check every now and then to see if our shifts have been changed. I did check mine every once a while....

Then I was off for 2 days and when I returned to wrk on Tues, I realised I went to the wrong shift. They had changed my original mornin to afternoon shift and I did not realise it. I even made the effort to wake up earlier at 5 plus so as not to be late cuz I needed to reach by 8am.

They expected me to go home and come again for my afternoon shift. I refused to go back and told my colleague that if I were to go back, I would not turn up for work in the afternoon. So I continued to stay for the morning. Our shift for the morning is from 8am to 6pm...

The new Malay ASM then asked me in a mocking manner what time Im knocking off. I replied 6pm. Then he said by right Im supposed to be in the PM shift. I said I know. Then he asked did I come in the wrong shift. I replied that I was off for 2 days and I didnt know my shift had my changed (cuz I saw that they updated on the 6th). He then said he will talk to Sharon, my ASM about it (she's leavin the co this week already). I told him angrily I would talk to her myself!

When SHaron arrived, I told her straight in the face that Im going back at 6pm. She looked at me buay song and said no. I could only go back at 7-8pm, depending on crowd. She said that she has updated my shift long ago on the 4th. I went to check the copy I had, mine was on the 1st...

Okie, I might be at fault for coming at the wrong time but what to do when they kept changing our shifts as and when they like? At least inform us lah! And Im not the only one who went to the wrong shift before.

BUT in what position is she to tell me to stay back when my shift for the morning has ended. Our store closed at 10pm, and she wanted me to go back at 7-8pm when I started work at 8am. SHe might as well tell me to do till closing! SO what if she is my ASM? My contract stated I only need to work 9hrs excluding 1 hr break per day. I dun haf to do OT if I dun feel like okie, do U understand me bitch?

The whole day my face super black. The inside of me kept wanting to explode! After 6pm, it aint crowded at all. There's enuff staff too. BUT that bitch purposely made me stay till 7pm... CCB

Nvm. U made me stay for an extra hour. I mc for 2 days give U see! And so, I really did not turn up for work after that. Partly is due to spite her, mainly is cuz Im really sick lah! Down with sore throat and a darn bad flu.

Im sending out resumes and actively looking out for jobs now. I cant wait to tender and leave the stupid co! The resignation letter which I've asked Sis to prepare is now sitting cozily in my cupboard. Hope it will be of use soon!

Will be meetin Tessa @ TPY in the evening cuz she will be dropping by the area. Shall meet her for dinner and to change my Thai Baht. Our trip is confirm at the end of Mar. And Im worried that I would spend every penny in my a/c thus it's safer to take the money out to change first.

Doing some research online on flight & hotel accomodation for my Thai trip in March. Will be travelling with Tessa & she's familiar with the country. Both of us can hardly wait for March to arrive! Later will be meeting her and Pauline after they knock off from work. Will show her my findings and we shall decide which package to take up. It will be a 4D3N shopping holiday for us! Shark fins/birdnest for us everyday!!! YiPpeEe!

Was rather pissed off by an Abu NehNeh woman & my SM @ work yesterday. This Indian woman wanted to get some products that were out of stock and she dun believe that we dun have them in store now. She claimed that last time our staff went in the store room and got one out for her. CCB, you already said LAST TIME. THIS TIME I tell U no more means no more, you retarded dun understand isit?

Then nvm, when she requested for us to check ION outlet for her, she refused to walk over herself & wanted us to transfer them over to our outlet. Cuz she did get something else from our store so she wanted to purchase together. Okie, nvm..

End up she told our SM that she would be back in 10mins to collect her purchases. I have to walk over to ION, nvm.. BUT when my SM kept repeating that the customer would be back in 10mins, I fcukin lost my cool and totally showed my temper.

CCB, you think I no need time to walk over to ION, look for the respective staff there, get the papers sign and walk back to my store isit? U fcukin weenie brain think I FLY there ahh? U so fcukin smart, U go tell the customer to run over if she's in a hurry (apparantly she's not) or better still, why not U URSELF fly there and back in freakin 10MINS?!!

Im wearing my new shoes and the front & back make my toes hurt. I cannot walk fast U toad. Therefore, I purposely took my own sweeet time walking to and fro. I purposely made the smelly Ah Neh come back in vain (she came in 10mins) and that she gotta come back for her stuff again.

So what if my SM apologised to me when I returned. LIMBEH not happy already. Stupid moron, how can U promise and agree with the customer I can be back in 10MINS. This teach U a lesson, next time, use ur fcukin brain!


Finally can surf the net today. Bro and gf went to Thailand this morning therefore I got the chance to come online. Sigh. It sucks to be unable to surf the net as and when I like.

Gotta bathe Baby le. Will come online again tonight after Im back from meeting my lovely BFFs.

Worked 14hrs (inclusive of 1 hr break) yesterday till 130am last night. Super tiring lor! Every Thurs animation change. Anyone working night shift will have to stay back after work to help out. There's only 2 Chinese, including me who stayed behind, the rest were Malays. But the other Chinese is half Malay thus she can speak Malayu perfectly.

It's really annoying and frustrating when they kept communicating in Malayu cuz I totally dun understand at all. Thus I kept quiet and worked most of the time, ignoring all the noise pollution they created. I'm not racist. Just feeling frustrated when they kept shouting and screaming in a language alien to me.

Something happy about. Staff working either today or tml will be given a pair of fake lashes by the prestigious brand, Make Up Forever (MUFE). One pair costs $32! They're promoting their lashes (mostly darn dramatic de lor) and luckily the one I got is soo pretty! Others got really drama mama ones! Have to wear it tml at work!

Sep Party @ St James

Last night's Sep party @ St James were a tad boring. No food catered, only drinks and more drinks. I only had a few sips of vodka ribena & champagne though cuz my body can't seem to tolerate any alcohol anymore. I dun wanna look like a lobster, looking high when Im not, esp when Im with the wrong crowd of company.

The results announced were surprising too. Everyone din expect our cashier to walk away with the LV bag and there's so many pple getting promoted wtf?! Our president said that 2 more outlets will be opening soon (Great World City & Marina Bay).

Ahh yes, Im one of those who received the promotion letter but Im not really welcoming the idea of it. Somemore the new pay offered is what Im getting now *rolls eyes*... (Im from the pioneer batch thus my basic is higher than the new staff and it's also what the senior BA gets!) Will have to see my manager tml about it I guess.

Aint close to my staff thus I appeared more of a loner there. Chatted with Liza & Candy from ION (both got promoted to assist Supervisors, Congrats!), Huili & Joanne our cashiers most of the time as Im more comfortable with their presence. Didnt mingle with the rest of my staff from NAC. They are juz my colleagues only, not friends.

They also announced the top 20 sales staff. It was said that top 10 will have a chance to travel overseas for training and our performances will still be under observation for the new few mths. Im sooo shocked that currently, Im in the no.1 position!! How the hell did I manage to beat the rest? Even those from ION and of a higher position than me? How did they come up with the ranking? Base on what???

In work, I put in most of my effort in serving the customers. Many times, I feel the unfairness when Im the only one always looking out for customers and the rest of the staff crowd in a corner, chit chatting to one another, lost in their own world, oblivious to the customers around them.

Some of them, they dun have to put in much effort and yet can hit their targets easily. Mine, I work really hard in it, promoting my brands' awareness and sometimes unable to hit my figure at the end of the day. It's sooo unfair that my skincare's target is double of theirs! Ridiculous. I voiced out lotsa times but nothing is being done. Sigh. Gotta juz accept the figures and work harder!

I keep telling myself that I will prove I can excel far better than anyone of them and Im glad my efforts are finally getting appreciated!

After the announcements and award ceremony @ Lobby Bar, everyone shifted to Movida for more partying. I left with Huili 1st and shared a cab back. Damn, MV (Movida) stamp seemed so difficult to wash away! The 2 alphabets are still darn visible on my wrist....
